Which payment does the calendar cover?
The November section of the Revenue Administration’s annual calendar places the second inheritance and gift tax instalment among the obligations due on 30 November. This is a reminder of an approaching regular payment period, rather than an announcement of a new tax or a newly enacted rule.
The calendar’s reference to a second instalment reflects the annual May and November schedule. It does not mean that this is necessarily the second instalment in every heir’s overall payment plan. Check the due date and amount recorded for your own assessment.

Who should check their instalment?
Anyone with an inheritance and gift tax instalment due in November should review their payment records. Article 19 of Law No. 7338 provides for the ordinary tax payment schedule to run over three years from assessment, with payments each May and November. The Revenue Administration describes this as six equal instalments in total. Article 19 and official explanation.
Filing a return after a recent inheritance does not establish, by itself, that a November payment is immediately due. Whether tax is payable, its assessment and the resulting payment schedule must be checked separately.
The return deadline is separate
30 November is not a common filing deadline for all heirs. The period for filing an inheritance tax return depends on where the death occurred and where the taxpayer is located. For example, if both are in Turkey, the period is four months from the death. Different periods apply in cross-border situations. Official filing and payment table.
A return is still required for an inheritance even when the inherited share falls below the applicable tax exemption. Having no tax to pay does not, by itself, remove the filing requirement. Revenue Administration infographic.
Where can payment be made?
The Revenue Administration lists the Digital Tax Office and GİB Mobil, participating banks, PTT branches and tax offices among the payment channels. Available card and account options can differ between channels. Official payment information.
You can start at the official Digital Tax Office. Before paying, check the tax type, instalment and amount. Keep the receipt and confirm that the payment is reflected in the tax record. Ask the relevant tax office to clarify any mismatch between the record and your documents.
